The only people who might miss out are gamers on Nintendo Switch - to this date, The Sims 4 has not launched on Switch, which makes it seem very likely that The Sims 5 won't come out on Switch either. Players who prefer Apple devices will hopefully be able to play The Sims 5 on Mac, which seems probable, considering that The Sims 4 did get a Mac release. As is usually the case, an initial PC release could be the first thing that happens, with players on Windows 10 computers often being the first people to try out each new version of The Sims. REGISTRATION IS LIMITED TO ONE EA ACCOUNT PER SERIAL CODE AND IS NON-TRANSFERABLE. Like its predecessors, The Sims 5 will almost certainly be cross-platform eventually, including a likely release on PS5 and Xbox Series X.
